Component Type Port in Google tag manager

In Google Tag Manager, the "Component Type - Port" refers to the port number used in the URL of the current page. The port number is usually specified in the URL after the domain name or IP address, separated by a colon (:).

For example, in the URL "http://www.example.com:8080/page1.html", the port number is "8080".

You can use this component type in a User-Defined Variable in GTM to capture the port number and pass it on to your tags, triggers or other variables as needed. This can be useful if you need to track traffic coming from specific ports or if you want to customize your tracking based on the port number being used.
